Ashdown Forest Fly Fishery (formerly Boringwheel Trout Fishery) is regularly stocked with fully finned, hard fighting, trout.
You can fish from 8 stages based around the island or from flat bottomed boats which are available.
It is generally unmanned and payment should be placed in the honesty box inside the fishing lodge (cash only). However spot checks are often made by authorised stewards to ensure that the fishery rules are being obeyed. Full rules of the fishery are displayed outside the fishing lodge.
A toilet is located on the far side of the car park.
If using the available flat bottomed boats it is advised to bring your own life jackets.
Under 16's must be supervised by an adult 18 years old or older.
